Passion for fine biscuits since 1905...
It was in 1905 – more than 100 years ago – that confectioner Fritz Wernli-Studer set up his first biscuit bakery in the Swiss town of Trimbach, in the southern foothills of the Jura Mountains.
He soon handed over the business to his sons Fritz and Paul Wernli. By 1927, they were established as Swiss pioneers in the manufacture of fine biscuits.
The work of Fritz Wernli-Studer continues today. Processing Swiss chocolate and making the finest fillings has always been a Wernli core area of expertise and therefore Wernli remains the most well-known brand of biscuits in Switzerland today. Jura Wafers, Choco Petit Beurre and Japonais are original products developed by Wernli.
Top-quality recipes with lots of Swiss chocolate are something that is also appreciated in other countries.

Fine Wernli biscuits are currently available in many countries around the world and now we are bringing them to you in Australia.
